How does your body react when your boundaries are crossed? And how can we respond with strength in the face of racism or queerphobia?

We’ll explore somatic awareness and automatic stress responses like fight, flight, freeze, and fawn, and practice techniques to calm the nervous system, communicate assertively, and use basic self-defense. Through action theater, we’ll rehearse different reactions to boundary-crossing: both as the person being targeted and as a bystander. Because solidarity means showing up for each other, even when we share the identity being attacked.

This workshop is about awareness, resilience, and solidarity: learning to respond with our bodies, our voices, and our presence.
